Why can't I just convert the AZW3 file directly?
Amazon removed USB download access for Kindle books in February 2025. Even if you have an older device, the DeDRM tool stopped working on 11th and 12th generation Kindles in September 2025. For most users, getting the AZW3 file is no longer practical.
