1. What TextMuncher Does

TextMuncher is a browser extension and web app that extracts text from ebook screenshots using OCR and from EPUB files. All processing happens locally in your browser. The service is for personal use only.

2. Your Responsibilities

What You Can Do

• Extract text from content you have legal access to
• Use extracted text for personal research, study, and accessibility
• Use the free tier (30 pages) without an account

What You Can't Do

• Resell or redistribute extracted text commercially
• Violate copyright laws with extracted content
• Create multiple accounts to abuse free tier limits
• Use TextMuncher for bulk commercial text extraction

3. Subscriptions and Payments

Free: 30 pages of automated extraction. Pro: $6/month or $50/year for unlimited automated extraction. Manual OCR uploads are always free. Payments processed by Stripe.

4. Disclaimers and Liability

TextMuncher is provided "as is." You are responsible for your use of extracted text and compliance with copyright laws. Our liability is limited to fees paid in the last 12 months or $100, whichever is greater.

5. Account Termination

You can cancel your subscription anytime. We may terminate accounts that violate these terms.

6. General Terms

We may update these terms. Disputes should be raised via support@textmuncher.com. See our Privacy Policy for data handling details.
