Our Privacy Promise
In Speed mode — the default for everyone — text extraction happens entirely in your browser, and your files and text never leave your device. The one exception is Quality mode (internally, Precision OCR), an optional accuracy feature for Pro subscribers who switch it on: pages our on-device engine cannot read confidently are sent — the page image and its draft transcription — to a Google cloud OCR service to be converted to text and returned to you. We collect only the minimal account and billing data needed to run the service.

Third-Party Services
Stripe for payment processing. Firebase for authentication and account data. Google LLC (Google Cloud) for the optional Quality mode (internally, Precision OCR), which receives the page images flagged as hard to read and their draft transcriptions, used only to return your extracted text.

You can delete your account, request your data, and exercise GDPR/CCPA rights at any time.
