Before you write
Two details answer most questions faster than anything else: which reader the book was open in (Kindle Cloud Reader at read.amazon.com, or something else), and whether you were using the Chrome extension or uploading files at textmuncher.com. Add the browser and its version if the extension is involved, and the operating system if it looks like a capture problem rather than a text problem.
With those few lines we can usually reproduce what you saw on the first attempt rather than the third, which is most of the difference between a same-day answer and a week of back and forth.
What to expect when you write
Email goes to the developer who wrote the code, and replies normally go out within one business day. Weekends and holidays run slower.
What we can help with
Extraction problems are the most useful thing to send: tell us the reader and the book, what you expected, and what came out instead. A screenshot of the page and a short sample of the text helps more than a description of either on its own.
Subscription questions - billing, upgrades, cancellations, refunds - are handled by email as well. You can cancel yourself at any time from the account dashboard through Manage Billing, and Pro access runs to the end of the period you have already paid for.
Feature requests are read. We cannot promise a date for any of them, and we would rather say so than let a request sit unanswered.
What we cannot do
We cannot recover, unlock, or supply the contents of a book, and we cannot advise on whether a particular use of extracted text is permitted where you live. TextMuncher reads pages you can already open; what you do with the output is your call to make, and a lawyer's to advise on.
